Engineering Project Manager

About the role

Midtronics is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to lead the Global Platform development team. You will own schedules, manage risks, and ensure delivery of high‑quality hardware and software projects for automotive battery diagnostics.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and monitor hardware and software development projects from initiation through delivery.
• Own project budget, schedule, and overall outcomes.
• Interface with product management, sales, and customers to meet their needs.
• Facilitate cross‑department collaboration to meet targets and requirements.
• Ensure projects are completed on scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining quality.
• Gather end‑user data to define goals, objectives, and scope.
• Manage risks and issues, create and track KPIs and metrics.

Required profile

• BS in Engineering (MS a plus); must read and speak English.
• 2–5 years of engineering project management experience with software design and development.
• Leadership ability to work with cross‑functional, global teams.
• Experience with both waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to present status to executive leadership and customers.
• Hands‑on experience with electronics design in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• PMP certification, supply‑chain experience, automotive industry knowledge, and marketing material creation are additional pluses.
