Engineering Technician – Manufacturing & Process Support

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to support manufacturing and process operations. The role involves performing experimental procedures, collecting and analysing data from production processes, and assisting engineers in resolving customer complaints and improving yields.

Key responsibilities

• Train and coach new engineering personnel on equipment and processes.
• Interpret equipment data to troubleshoot and solve process issues.
• Collaborate with product innovation and cost‑reduction teams.
• Develop and implement testing and integration of new equipment.
• Lead equipment projects aimed at reducing costs, downtime, defects and increasing yields.
• Guide front‑line production and technical teams to follow safety, health, SOP and environmental regulations.
• Provide inputs for project plans, resource allocation and timelines.
• Participate in developing new processes or machines and document procedures.

Required profile

• Associate degree in a technical field or strong math/science background.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience reading blueprints or technical drawings.
• Previous technician or operator roles that provide equipment and process knowledge.
• Desired: B.S. in a technical field, project management skills, Lean fundamentals, Yellow or Green Belt, experience with PEx tools, and demonstrated leadership opportunities.
