About the role

The Chemicals Buyer supports the procurement function by managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of chemical products. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in purchasing, customer service, and supply‑chain coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate purchase orders for chemicals and process related paperwork.
• Contact suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Evaluate quotes, recommend award decisions, and track order revisions.
• Resolve procurement discrepancies by communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor open purchase orders, identify potential delivery issues, and initiate material expedites.
