Entry Level Powertrain Designer

About the role
The Entry Level Powertrain Designer will create and maintain detailed designs and drawings for powertrain components using NX. You will be involved from concept through production‑level detailing, supporting design leaders and senior designers as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for powertrain assemblies in NX.
- Perform tolerance stack‑up analysis and ensure design compliance.
- Maintain and update NX model libraries and documentation.
- Collaborate with design leaders, manufacturing engineers, and cross‑functional teams.
Required profile
- Associate degree or equivalent training in a design‑related field.
- Training or work experience with NX automotive design and parametric solid modeling.
- Basic understanding of vehicle assembly and manufacturing processes such as casting, forging, machining, and stamping.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
