Equipment Technician

About the role

The Equipment Technician supports and improves manufacturing lines to meet production goals. Working on shift schedules, you will operate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain complex automation equipment across mechanical, electrical and computer engineering disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform first‑response troubleshooting to maximize line uptime.
• Optimize equipment for maintainability, reliability and availability.
• Participate in safety commissions and report any safety issues.
• Apply 5S methodology to maintain a clean work area.
• Install, repair and service mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Execute routine scheduled maintenance and document events in SAP.
• Gather data on recurring issues and provide feedback to engineers.
• Assist engineering teams with testing, improvements and qualification activities (IQOQPQ).
• Address emergency or unscheduled equipment problems.

Required profile

• Ability to work production shift schedules.
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to safety procedures.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and automation equipment.
• Proficiency in documenting work in SAP.
• Willingness to collaborate with engineering and continuous‑improvement teams.
