Estimator – General Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to lead estimating and pre‑construction activities for U.S.‑based projects while based in Mexico. You will own the full estimating cycle, from reviewing drawings to preparing bid proposals, and work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Prepare accurate budgets, cost estimates and bid proposals for U.S. construction projects.
• Review plans and specifications to identify scope, exclusions, discrepancies and estimating risks.
• Respond to RFQs, prepare bid documentation and coordinate pricing with contractors and subcontractors.
• Support pre‑construction communications, scheduling and logistics.
• Maintain organized, accessible estimating and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve missing information, scope gaps and potential issues before they impact bids.
• Proactively improve estimating workflows and efficiency.

Required profile

• 3‑10+ years of hands‑on construction estimating experience.
• Proven experience estimating U.S. construction projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and project documents.
• Ability to manage multiple estimating assignments independently while meeting deadlines.
