Estimator – General Construction (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

We are seeking a Mid‑Level Estimator with 3–6+ years of hands‑on experience on U.S. construction projects. The role is fully remote, supporting a U.S.-based general contractor that focuses on education construction. You will own the estimating and pre‑construction process from drawing review through bid preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications.
• Prepare accurate budgets and cost estimates for competitive bids.
• Assemble bid documentation and respond to RFQs.
• Review subcontractor submittals against project drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors during the pre‑construction phase.
• Support pre‑construction communications, documentation, and logistics.
• Manage multiple estimating and pre‑construction tasks simultaneously.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential issues early.

Required profile

• 3–10+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably on U.S. projects.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
