Expert IT Solution Architect

About the role

The Expert Solution Architect designs end‑to‑end IT solutions at initiative level for Nestlé, bringing deep technical expertise across modern software engineering and Generative AI to deliver pragmatic, future‑ready architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end solution architectures (HLD/LLD) for assigned initiatives, applying advanced expertise across application, integration, data and security layers.
• Translate complex business problems and product requirements into modular, cloud‑native solutions aligned with Nestlé reference architectures and standards.
• Apply Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities to solutions, in alignment with Nestlé Responsible AI principles.
• Review and challenge designs proposed by hyperscaler partners (Azure/AWS/GCP) and systems integrators on assigned initiatives.
• Document architecture decisions and trade‑offs; present them clearly to product teams, technical peers and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in IT solution and software architecture, including enterprise‑scale programs.
• Proven expertise designing and managing cloud‑native solutions on at least one hyperscaler (Azure, AWS or GCP); cross‑cloud knowledge is a plus.
• Strong software engineering background across multiple programming languages and platforms (Java.NET, Python, Node.js) and modern frontend frameworks.
• Advanced understanding of cloud‑native architecture, microservices, event‑driven design and API‑led integration principles (MuleSoft, Kafka, iPaaS, API Management).
• Hands‑on experience designing solutions that leverage Generative AI / Agentic AI, MLOps and modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake).
• Solid command of architecture governance, standards and frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience leading or shaping innovation initiatives from emerging‑tech evaluation to pilot to scale.
