Facilities Manager (Pharma)

About the role

As a Facilities Manager (Pharma) within DHL Corporate Real Estate, you will be responsible for the tactical and operational management of technical and infrastructural services across our pharmaceutical facilities. You will ensure that building systems, cold‑chain solutions and workplace environments operate efficiently and safely, supporting DHL’s global logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain optimal functionality of building systems such as HVAC, fire safety equipment, elevators and other critical infrastructure.
• Oversee the performance and reliability of all cold‑chain solutions, providing expertise for new technology development.
• Manage vendors, contractors and maintenance staff through KPIs, SLAs and regular performance dialogues.
• Collaborate with Finance to develop and administer operating and capital budgets for facilities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, data integrity for the real‑estate portfolio, and corporate risk management and insurance requirements.
• Drive workspace design, utilization and savings initiatives to meet business needs.
• Coordinate routine inspections, non‑construction projects and environmental programs in partnership with the EH&S Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities or property management, preferably within a pharmaceutical or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of building systems, cold‑chain logistics and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage third‑party service providers.
• Excellent analytical and budgeting skills.
