Facilities Technician

About the role

The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing a range of technical duties to ensure the smooth operation of building systems and infrastructure. Working within defined time frames, the technician supports day‑to‑day maintenance while contributing to projects that enhance overall process efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Execute technical tasks and activities according to schedule.
• Participate in improvement projects aimed at boosting process and technical efficiency.
• Train new personnel on standard operating procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information and materials.
• Identify problems proactively and propose corrective actions.
• Provide periodic status reports in both written and verbal formats.
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors to ensure continuity and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Beginning level of job‑specific knowledge.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Successful track record in previous roles.
• 1‑3 years of relevant work experience.
