Factored Global Planner‑Buyer

About the role

The Factored Global Planner‑Buyer will manage the end‑to‑end planning and purchase of goods and services that support Rockwell Automation’s distribution centres worldwide. You will own material requirements, monitor inventory, and ensure on‑time delivery across Asia, America and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop supply and inventory plans aligned with customer demand and corporate goals.
• Manage purchase orders, forecasts and replenishment strategies with global suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Monitor supplier performance, including on‑time delivery, lead times, inventory levels and capacity constraints.
• Analyze demand, supply and inventory data to identify risks and corrective actions.
• Lead resolution of material shortages, past‑due orders, excess inventory and supply disruptions.
• Negotiate and commit the company to purchase contracts, evaluate suppliers and maintain supplier relationships.
• Create, release, pull‑in, push‑out and follow‑up purchase orders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain planning, procurement or materials management.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams such as Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality and Engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset to assess demand, supply and inventory data.
