Finance Executive Assistant

About the role

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Finance Executive Assistant to provide operational and analytical support to its finance function in the Punto Polanco office of Mexico City. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate transaction processing, reporting, and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day transactional and operational finance tasks.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and analyses.
• Follow established procedures, policies, and internal controls.
• Assist in month‑end and periodic closing processes.
• Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliverables.
• Maintain data accuracy in systems such as SAP or other ERP tools.
• Participate in process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (in progress or recently completed).
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; internship experience preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and good time‑management skills.
• Team‑oriented with basic communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Exposure to ERP systems, preferably SAP (not mandatory).
