Finance Manager – Digital & Emerging Market Payments

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to join the Digital and Emerging Market Payment Finance team, supporting the Mexico payment portfolio including co‑branded cards, installments, instant and cash payment products. The role will drive financial planning, reporting, controllership and analytical support for senior business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead short‑ and long‑term financial planning and reporting for the Mexico payments business.
• Provide controllership oversight and act as a risk gateway for payment products.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analysis to support business growth and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate data into actionable insights.
• Manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining high attention to detail.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in finance, tax, or related analytical fields.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent business judgment and a focus on controllership.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling.
• Experience with Microsoft Access.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis.
