Finance Manager

About the role

The Standard, Mexico City is looking for a Finance Manager to drive financial strategy and ensure robust financial stewardship for its new hotel and residential project. You will act as the analytical backbone of the business, turning data into actionable insight while supporting a vibrant, creative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily financial operations and long‑term strategic planning.
• Transform data into clear insights for senior leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting and smooth month‑end / year‑end closes.
• Strengthen internal controls and streamline processes.
• Navigate audits, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify risks and growth opportunities.
• Lead, develop and motivate a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, planning and analysis.
• Proven ability to communicate complex numbers in an understandable way.
• Leadership style that balances rigor with empathy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
