Financial Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Financial Accountant with at least four years of professional accounting experience to join our client’s finance team. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing statements, and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing processes while collaborating with international stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with IFRS or US GAAP.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual close activities.
• Reconcile general ledger, bank and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Assist with statutory audits and coordinate external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses for senior leadership.
• Monitor internal controls and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for accurate reporting.
• Support ERP system maintenance and financial process optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in financial or corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite.
