Financial Analyst – Finance Operations (Mexico)

About the role

Amazon Music is expanding its Finance Operations team in Mexico. As a Financial Analyst you will combine finance expertise with technical know‑how to streamline purchase‑order workflows, budget tracking and spend reconciliation across the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchase‑order workflows, vendor setup and budget tracking with a focus on accuracy and speed.
• Reconcile financial data across multiple systems, flag discrepancies and ensure compliance with procurement policies and accounting standards.
• Support month‑end close activities, accrual processes and act as the go‑to person for workflow issues.
• Experiment with AI tools to classify transactions, detect anomalies and automate routine reconciliation tasks.
• Conduct monthly business reviews with marketing and industry teams, partnering with Finance, Accounting, Legal and Global Procurement to resolve complex issues.

Required profile

• Finance professional with strong technical aptitude and understanding of accounting and procurement fundamentals.
• Ability to bridge finance needs with technology solutions, troubleshoot system breaks and improve processes.
• Excellent collaboration skills across time zones and functions.
