Financial Business Controller (Guadalajara)

About the role

The Financial Business Controller will partner with the General Manager and commercial teams to provide strategic financial insight, ensuring the company meets its financial objectives while complying with US GAAP and SOX standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to align with business objectives.
• Oversee financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP, SOX and internal control standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze financial statements and key performance indicators to identify deviations, risks and opportunities, and drive corrective action plans.
• Act as a strategic business partner, providing financial insights for decision‑making and supporting commercial negotiations.
• Prepare executive summaries and business cases for senior leadership, evaluating profitability, risks and operational feasibility.
• Manage CAPEX planning, cash‑flow forecasting and cost analysis to optimize resource allocation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance controlling roles within multinational, publicly traded companies.
• Proven expertise in financial controlling, reporting and business partnering in complex industrial environments.
• Demonstrated experience working under US GAAP and SOX compliance frameworks, including internal controls and audits.
• Leadership experience managing and developing finance teams in manufacturing, construction or similar sectors.
• Strong track record supporting strategic decision‑making, forecasting and performance analysis.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in SOX compliance.
• In‑depth knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards.
