Financial Controller – Remote Independent Contractor

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Financial Controller to join our remote team and manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries. This independent‑contractor position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in LATAM while delivering high‑quality accounting services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounting cycle for each client, including month‑end close and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for a varied client base.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain client ledgers and transactions.
• Assist clients with onboarding to platforms such as bill.com and payroll solutions like Gusto.
• Collaborate with senior management, providing insights and recommendations on financial operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients, preferably in public accounting or client accounting services.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
