Financial Planner (AI-focused)

About the role

Platzi is building an AI‑first Finance team and needs a Financial Planner to drive data‑driven decision making across its B2C, B2B and new product lines. You will combine finance, data analysis and AI tools to create automated models, forecasts and insights that support rapid business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and performance analyses for all business units.
• Automate data extraction, reporting and reconciliation using SQL, n8n and AI‑based tools.
• Design and prototype dashboards or workflow solutions for cross‑functional teams.
• Partner with product, growth, education and enterprise teams to translate financial metrics into actionable insights.
• Define, track and report key KPIs such as revenue, churn, CAC, LTV, margins and pricing.
• Prepare materials for leadership and board discussions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis or a similar finance role.
• Strong ability to build financial models, forecast results and present insights.
• Proven track record of improving or automating financial or operational processes.
• Bilingual Spanish‑English with excellent written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets.
• SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar).
• AI automation platforms (LLMs, copilots, n8n or similar).
• Python for data analysis or automation (nice to have).
