About the role
The FP&A Senior Analyst will lead and support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and business performance analysis. Working closely with finance leaders, business teams and functional departments, the role provides actionable insights that drive strategic decision‑making, profitability and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary analytical resource and business partner for a variety of financial analyses.
- Summarize analysis results for monthly presentations to executive management.
- Participate in annual planning and quarterly Latest Estimate processes, consolidating submissions and preparing executive presentations.
- Coordinate monthly forecasting and annual budgeting, continuously improving templates and reporting decks.
- Execute CRP – P&L budgets/forecasts, analyze variances and prepare cause‑of‑change explanations.
- Support the monthly close, analyze results and provide variance explanations.
- Review P&Ls and general‑ledger balances for accuracy and compliance with IFRS and Mexican standards.
- Prepare monthly analyses of key income‑statement and balance‑sheet accounts.
- Calculate sales reporting, foreign‑exchange gains/losses, depreciation, amortization and other accounting estimates.
- Collaborate with finance teams to share best practices, simplify processes and monitor operational re‑forecasts.
- Drive departmental budgeting, ensuring accurate budgets are communicated to leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Exposure to IFRS, Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and internal control processes.
- Relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting cycles and management reporting.
