Forward Deployed Engineer Intern

About the role

Arkham is a Data & AI platform that helps large enterprises unify fragmented systems and data, build a single source of trusted operational metrics and solve complex challenges with AI tailored to their operations. As a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern, you will learn how to deliver real-world AI solutions inside large enterprises, working closely with senior Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers across the full data science lifecycle, from exploration to production. It is a learning-focused role for students and early-career talent.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of forecasting, optimization, clustering and anomaly detection models
• Assist in building Generative AI workflows and experimenting with AI Agents
• Help prepare data, run analyses and validate model outputs
• Learn best practices for model monitoring, retraining and governance
• Collaborate with senior team members on live client implementations

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
• No professional experience required; academic projects, internships or personal projects are a plus
• Eagerness to learn, strong problem-solving mindset and good communication skills

Required skills

• Foundational knowledge of Python and SQL
• Familiarity with basic statistics and machine learning concepts
• Curiosity about Generative AI, LLMs and AI agents
