Front Desk Receptionist – Healthcare Virtual Assistant

About the role

Snapscale is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join its new healthcare delivery center in Mérida, Mexico. This onsite position supports U.S. medical practices by handling patient communications and ensuring smooth administrative operations.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls and provide courteous assistance.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments.
• Navigate electronic medical record (EMR) systems to update patient information.
• Verify insurance benefits and support prescription refill workflows.
• Maintain accurate records and follow HIPAA guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a clinic, doctor’s office, or hospital.
• Proficient in English (B2 or higher) and Spanish.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Experience with EMR systems.
• Familiarity with medical billing or insurance verification software.
