Front Desk Receptionist – Healthcare Virtual Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join Snapscale’s growing team in Mérida, Mexico. The role supports U.S. medical practices by handling patient communications and administrative tasks, with the possibility of remote work after one year based on performance and HIPAA compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls for doctors’ offices.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
• Navigate electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Verify insurance benefits (VOB).
• Support prescription refill workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a clinic, doctor’s office, or hospital.
• Fluency in English (B2 or higher) and Spanish.
• Familiarity with medical terminology; medical billing knowledge is a plus.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with healthcare management software / EMR systems.
