Front-end Developer

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Front‑end Developer to translate visual and interactive designs into functional web and mobile applications. You will work on responsive, accessible interfaces for a variety of client projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop application user interfaces using CSS3, HTML5, PHP, JavaScript and modern frameworks.
• Create prototypes with AJAX, JSON, jQuery, Dojo and other technologies.
• Implement responsive design to ensure optimal experiences across devices.
• Integrate APIs and third‑party frameworks, staying current with industry trends.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and support junior team members.
• Estimate work, manage timelines, and contribute to Agile development cycles.

Required profile

• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+), PHP, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with React, Tailwind CSS and animation tools such as Motion.dev.
• Good understanding of responsive and accessible web design.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to support junior developers, estimate effort and manage project timelines.
