Front-End Developer (Vue.js) – Remote

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a skilled Front‑End Developer with deep Vue.js expertise to join its global engineering team. This remote position focuses on building high‑performance web applications that support innovative projects across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable front‑end applications using Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Create and maintain reusable, secure, and well‑documented UI components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate RESTful APIs and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, debugging, and adherence to best practices.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Vue.js ecosystem updates, security patches, and emerging front‑end technologies.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional front‑end development experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on production experience with Vue.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js.
• Solid understanding of component‑based architecture, reactivity, and the Virtual DOM.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Proficiency with Git, Webpack, and Babel.
• Advanced English communication skills and the ability to work independently.
