Frontend Developer – React (Hybrid)

About the role

Cognizant is looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join its digital teams in Mexico. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with UX, backend, and product teams to build modern, high‑performance web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ReactJS.
• Build reusable, scalable, and high‑performance UI components.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Develop and deploy cloud‑native solutions on AWS.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality, performance, security, and scalability.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional development experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong experience building responsive, reusable UI components.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment across multiple Mexican locations.

Required skills

• ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• React ecosystem: Redux, Context API, Hooks, React Router.
• REST API and GraphQL integration.
• AWS services: S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, DynamoDB.
