Full Stack Engineer – Engineering & Quality

About the role

Fitch Group is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join its Engineering & Quality team in Monterrey. You will help design, build and maintain the core data repository and ratings platform that powers critical business operations across Fitch Ratings.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, secure, high‑performance full‑stack applications.
• Build intuitive, responsive UI components using React and TypeScript.
• Develop robust backend services with Java/Spring Boot or Python APIs.
• Create and integrate REST APIs and data services that interact with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and data/engineering teams to ensure reliability, performance and data integrity.
• Contribute to AI/ML integration efforts to enhance data solutions and developer productivity.

• Proven experience in full‑stack development within an agile environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to data quality.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders.
