Full Stack Engineer (Remote - Mexico)

About the role

RepairPal, in partnership with Yelp, is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help bring trust to the automotive industry. This fully remote position serves customers across Mexico, allowing you to design and build end‑to‑end features that connect car owners with reliable local mechanics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain SEO‑optimized, high‑performance customer‑facing pages.
• Lead technical direction and set standards for frontend and backend code.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of learning.
• Build and improve scalable backend services and APIs, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Integrate frontend components with backend systems and third‑party APIs, including AI/ML services.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries, contribute to data modelling and database tuning.
• Identify and resolve critical technical issues and participate in architectural discussions.

Required profile

• Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript; Next.js preferred.
• Solid backend development skills, preferably with Ruby on Rails (or Django, Laravel, Express, etc.).
• Proven ability to collaborate with service teams and integrate existing APIs.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
