Fullstack Engineer – Azure Integration Specialist

About the role

WorldStrides is looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to design, build, and support secure, scalable integrations across enterprise systems, third‑party platforms, and internal applications. The position is based in Mérida, Mexico and will help improve data exchange and business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain integration solutions using Azure Integration Services.
• Build and manage REST APIs with Azure API Management and implement full API lifecycle practices.
• Create message‑based and event‑driven integrations using queues, pub/sub patterns, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hub.
• Work hands‑on with Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Web Apps, SQL, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Develop REST and SOAP APIs using JSON, XML and data transformation patterns.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT, certificates, mTLS).
• Write automation scripts and internal tools in Python.
• Apply DevOps best practices: CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated deployments, and environment management.
• Support release planning, coordinate deployments and ensure production readiness.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and support production integration environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering integration solutions in Azure.
• Strong engineering mindset with ability to produce clean, maintainable, and secure code.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with architects, product owners, developers, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders.
