Functional Business Consultant – Asset Finance

About the role

We are looking for a Functional Business Consultant specialized in Asset Finance to join our team. The consultant will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to design and implement solutions that streamline asset leasing, financing and residual value management. Fluency in Spanish and English is required to communicate effectively with our multinational client base.

Key responsibilities

• Research client needs, analyse market trends and best practices, and produce detailed program specifications.
• Act as the primary liaison between end‑users and technical consultants throughout project lifecycles.
• Define product scope, objectives and requirements, and create specifications and data models for development and testing.
• Design and configure systems to meet agreed user requirements and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop procedures to solve complex technical problems and enhance process performance.
• Provide direct consulting support to clients during implementation and post‑go‑live phases.

Required profile

• 1–12 years of experience in asset finance, leasing, or related financial services.
• Strong knowledge of asset and residual value management, auto‑leasing, equipment finance, hire‑purchase and loan structures, and contract servicing.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• SQL database design and querying.
• Crystal Reports for data analysis and reporting.
