General Ledger Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate month‑end close, maintaining the general ledger and supporting financial reporting in compliance with US‑GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in accounting and month‑end closing processes under US‑GAAP.
• Prepare daily and monthly financial reports and assist the General Accounting team.
• Perform general ledger account analysis, balance‑sheet reconciliations and SOX control documentation.
• Maintain continuous communication with vendors and customers regarding fixed‑asset issues.
• Identify and resolve issues that could affect timely month‑end closing.
• Support ad‑hoc accounting tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• BS or BA degree in a relevant field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
• Strong analytical, research and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to process changes.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Basic experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
