General Manager – Luxury Wellness Hospitality

About the role

The General Manager will lead SHA Mexico, a flagship luxury wellness resort, delivering world‑class hospitality combined with preventive medicine and holistic wellness. This senior leader will blend strategic vision with hands‑on operational execution to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and a values‑driven culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all operational areas of the property, maintaining the highest standards of luxury service and wellness programming.
• Provide visible, hands‑on leadership to ensure consistency, operational excellence, and strong cultural engagement across all departments.
• Embed AB Living Group’s core values—Excellence, Evolution, Honesty, Caring, Happiness—throughout the organization.
• Build, develop, and retain a high‑performing leadership team capable of delivering strategic and operational results.
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, revenue management, cost control, and key performance indicators.
• Ensure a seamless, personalized guest journey for VIP and international clientele.
• Act as the public face of the property, engaging with high‑profile guests, stakeholders, and media as needed.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement to keep the resort at the forefront of luxury wellness hospitality.
• Maintain compliance with legal, safety, health, environmental, and operational standards.
• Protect assets, manage capital expenditure planning, and safeguard long‑term property value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration or related field; advanced studies in Wellness Management, Luxury Hospitality or an MBA are a plus.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality, including 3–5 years in a General Manager or Director of Operations role.
• Proven experience with international ultra‑luxury brands and expertise across Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Finance, and Commercial functions.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are an asset.
• Strong strategic vision, operational leadership, and ability to work in multicultural, high‑profile environments.
