General Manager – Mexico Operations

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic General Manager to build and lead our industrial automation operations in Mexico. This is a hands‑on, growth‑focused position responsible for creating the operating platform, assembling a local team, and establishing a scalable supply‑chain ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and scale Mexico operations with full accountability for growth, execution, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Design and implement a local operating model for project execution, commissioning, and customer support.
• Develop and manage the Mexico supply‑chain strategy, including supplier identification, qualification, localization and performance monitoring.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of automation and logistics projects from planning and sourcing through installation, commissioning and hand‑over.
• Report operational and financial results to the U.S. leadership team as required.
• Support business development by engaging customers on automation, warehouse and intralogistics strategies.
• Drive operating discipline across schedule, quality, margin, cash flow, risk and issue resolution.
• Build and lead a high‑performing local team across project management, sourcing, field operations and support functions.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican labor, safety and business regulations.

Required profile

• 12+ years of leadership experience in industrial automation, systems integration, capital equipment, warehouse automation or material handling.
• Proven track record leading a business unit, country operation or major project organization with budget responsibility.
• Strong experience building or scaling supply chains and supplier ecosystems in Mexico or North America.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, business or a related field.
