About the role
We are seeking a Global IT Support Engineer to join Nutanix’s Corporate IT team. In this fast‑paced environment you will provide front‑line Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to employees worldwide, ensuring incidents are resolved quickly and customers receive a world‑class experience.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact for Tier 1/2 tickets, performing triage, diagnosis and remote resolution.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, SaaS services and endpoint devices.
- Escalate complex issues to higher‑level technical or managerial teams according to SLA guidelines.
- Document all actions in the ticketing system and ensure timely closure of incidents.
- Provide regular status updates to users and collaborate with other support specialists to achieve rapid resolutions.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support or a comparable IT role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and handle stressful situations.
- Motivated, technically curious and ready for a challenging environment.
Required skills
- Windows and macOS troubleshooting, laptop imaging and configuration.
- Active Directory and PowerShell scripting.
- Okta, ServiceNow, Slack and Office 365 administration.
- Intune, JAMF and Druva endpoint management.
- Basic networking knowledge (certification a plus).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and ticketing/documentation tools.
