Global IT Support Engineer

About the role

Nutanix is seeking a Global IT Support Engineer to join its Corporate IT team. You will provide front‑line support for Tier 1 and Tier 2 requests across a fast‑paced, worldwide environment, balancing remote and on‑site work.

Key responsibilities

• Handle ticket triage, act as single point of contact for escalations, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Perform initial diagnosis, troubleshooting, and remote resolution of desktop, laptop, and infrastructure incidents.
• Monitor systems, SaaS services, and incident status; escalate unresolved cases as needed.
• Collaborate with other support specialists to resolve customer issues and provide regular updates.
• Document all actions in ticketing tools and ensure timely closure of incidents.

Required profile

• 3+ years of technical support or similar experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle stressful situations.
• High technical aptitude, motivation, and a customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Windows and macOS troubleshooting, laptop imaging and configuration.
• Active Directory and PowerShell.
• Okta, ServiceNow, Slack, Office365 administration.
• Intune, JAMF, Druva administration.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and ticketing/documentation tools.
