Global Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

The Global Supply Chain Specialist will support Airbus Helicopters Mexico by managing purchase orders and ensuring timely, cost‑effective delivery of outsourced and purchased components. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, the role contributes to smooth material flows and high‑quality product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Place purchase orders in accordance with purchase requests for assigned commodities.
• Monitor and manage material flows to guarantee on‑time, quality, and cost‑effective delivery.
• Maintain inventory levels and oversee order management with suppliers.
• Act as the focal point for consolidating data related to key suppliers.
• Develop and support cross‑functional team collaboration.
• Identify and initiate corrective and preventive actions when delivery issues arise.
• Support change management initiatives to embed new ways of working.

Required profile

• Professional experience in supply chain, procurement or supplier management.
• Strong understanding of material flow management and inventory control.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and coordinate data across suppliers.
• Commitment to compliance, integrity and sustainable business practices.
