Guidewire Developer – Insurance Suite

About the role

We are seeking a Guidewire Developer with hands‑on experience implementing, configuring, and developing within Guidewire InsuranceSuite, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter. The role focuses on technical execution, configuration, integrations, and delivering high‑quality solutions following industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and customize Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) based on business requirements.
• Develop business rules, screens, validations, and workflows using GOSU and Guidewire Studio.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems via SOAP/REST web services, JMS messaging, and batch processes.
• Perform unit testing, support integration/system testing, and troubleshoot defects.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and fellow developers; participate in code reviews and provide effort estimations.
• Coordinate on‑shore and off‑shore activities to ensure smooth execution and alignment.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
• Proven experience as a Guidewire Developer in PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
• Strong knowledge of GOSU, Java, and XML.
• Experience with SOAP/REST integrations and messaging technologies (JMS).
• Familiarity with SDLC processes, Agile methodologies, and technical documentation in English.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish a plus.
