High School English Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our high‑school team at ISP. The successful candidate will inspire senior students in literature, writing, grammar and vocabulary, fostering critical thinking and communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction in literature, writing, grammar and vocabulary.
• Assess student progress through tests and assignments, providing constructive feedback and individualized support.
• Create a positive, disciplined learning environment.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods and educational technologies to engage learners.
• Encourage high‑level discussions, literary analysis and self‑directed learning activities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with teaching methods and trends.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress.

Required profile

• Strong subject‑matter expertise and instructional skills.
• Excellent classroom management and communication abilities.
• Ability to engage and motivate upper‑secondary (senior high) students.
• Degree in education or a related field.
• English teaching certification.
• Experience teaching at the upper‑secondary level.
