Holding Companies Controller

About the role

The Holding Companies Controller will lead the planning and execution of administrative and accounting functions for Orbia's holding entities, ensuring accurate statutory reporting and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements. This senior finance leader will manage a team, drive innovation, and support the company’s purpose‑led transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems for the holding companies, guaranteeing IFRS compliance.
• Ensure SOX controls are fully implemented and operating effectively.
• Analyze financial data, prepare timely and accurate financial reports for senior leadership.
• Monitor changes in financial statements and keep finance leadership informed of accounting status.
• Manage tax and financial regulatory compliance, coordinating with local and global tax teams.
• Prepare and issue audited separate‑entity financial statements and consolidated public parent statements.
• Liaise with internal and external advisors on statutory financial information.
• Conduct reviews and coordinate with external audit partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance or accounting functions in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOX, and tax compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage finance teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
