Holding Companies Controller

About the role

The Holding Companies Controller is responsible for planning and executing the administrative and accounting functions of Orbia's holding entities, including statutory reporting and oversight of accounts payable. This senior finance role leads a team, drives innovation in financial processes, and ensures compliance with global accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems for the holding companies, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Implement and monitor SOX controls, guaranteeing they are effective and up‑to‑date.
• Prepare, review, and present accurate financial reports and statements in a timely manner.
• Coordinate tax and regulatory compliance, working with local and global tax teams to submit required filings.
• Manage the delivery of fiscal audit components in partnership with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Produce audited separate‑entity financial statements that consolidate into the public parent’s IFRS statements.
• Liaise with internal and external advisors on statutory financial information preparation.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing finance teams and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Strong understanding of corporate accounting, internal controls, and regulatory reporting.
• Ability to communicate financial performance and risks to senior finance leadership.
• Experience collaborating with tax, audit, and compliance functions across multiple jurisdictions.
