Housekeeping Manager – Pre‑Opening (Los Cabos)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the pre‑opening phase of our new Soho House location in Los Cabos. You will be responsible for establishing high‑standard cleaning operations, building a motivated team, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily housekeeping activities across all public areas, guest rooms, suites, restaurants, and concession spaces.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and manage a team of 15+ housekeeping staff, including payroll and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct pre‑shift meetings, room inspections, and maintain rigorous cleanliness and safety standards.
• Manage inventory, purchase and reorder supplies, and oversee equipment maintenance and replacement.
• Develop and control the housekeeping budget, providing regular billing summaries and expense reports.
• Coordinate guest and staff laundry services and ensure accurate charge posting.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, health‑safety policies, and local regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of progressive housekeeping management experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a large housekeeping team.
• Strong budgeting experience and a track record of delivering excellent customer service.
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of management, guests, and staff.
• Self‑motivated, responsible, and capable of making independent decisions.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of rooms management systems.
• Proficiency with general office PC applications.
