HR Business Partner – Mexico Labor Law (Remote, 3‑5 mo contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic HR guidance for our Mexico operations. The role is remote and initially spans 3 to 5 months, with the possibility of extension. You will act as the primary advisor on Mexican labor legislation while supporting talent management and organizational development.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and functional managers to align HR initiatives with business goals.
• Provide expert advice on Mexico Labor Law, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
• Support workforce planning, organizational design, and talent acquisition processes.
• Guide managers on employee relations, disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain HR policies, employment contracts, and employee records in accordance with Mexican legal requirements.
• Drive performance management, succession planning, and employee development programs.
• Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits teams on salary reviews and benefits administration.
• Lead change‑management and business‑transformation projects.
• Coordinate with Legal, Payroll, Finance, and Global HR on compliance and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a multinational environment.
• Deep knowledge of Mexican employment legislation and compliance practices.
• Strong ability to advise managers on complex employee‑relations issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of Mexico Labor Law.
• Experience with HR policy development and implementation.
• Familiarity with talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning processes.
