HR Generalist – Employee Relations & Administration

About the role

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to join its Nuevo Laredo office. The role will serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through off‑boarding, in a fast‑growing logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to general employee questions and provide guidance on HR policies.
• Prepare draft offer letters, conduct background and reference checks, and enter new‑hire data into the HRIS and payroll system.
• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding processes to ensure a smooth experience for new and departing staff.
• Administer leaves of absence, benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
• Update and proof employee communications, internal announcements, and company policies in line with ESA and market trends.
• Compile HR reports such as attrition and work‑hour summaries.
• Support health and safety initiatives and the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee.

Required profile

• Human Resources degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a logistics or transportation setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.
• Experience using Adobe tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel.
