Income Auditor

About the role

The Standard, Mexico City is looking for an Income Auditor to ensure every transaction across the hotel’s diverse outlets is accurately recorded. You will act as the financial guardian of the property, turning daily numbers into clear, reliable revenue stories.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify daily revenue generated across all hotel outlets and operating departments.
• Audit room, food & beverage, spa, and other revenue streams for accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile daily reports, transactions, and supporting documentation.
• Investigate discrepancies, variances, and unusual transactions, resolving issues promptly.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports for Finance leadership.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit procedures.
• Partner with Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other operational teams to ensure accurate revenue capture.
• Support month‑end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
• Maintain organized audit records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in income auditing, accounting, finance, or revenue‑related roles.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and revenue streams.
