Indirect Buyer – Services Procurement

About the role

The Indirect Buyer Services role supports the procure-to-pay (P2P) process for assigned categories and regions within Dauch's global automotive supply chain. You will act as a liaison between internal business partners and external suppliers to ensure timely and compliant acquisition of tools, parts, and services.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process incoming requisitions and purchase orders, place tooling orders, and initiate related payments.
• Manage PPAP requests and update purchase orders with design changes or revisions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve routine issues such as past‑due PO’s, freight discrepancies, price or invoice conflicts, and PO amendments.
• Support the solicitation of quotes and bid evaluation for items above the bid threshold that are not covered by existing contracts.
• Monitor contract compliance, pricing, delivery, and key performance indicators.
• Execute contract and PO lifecycle activities, including reporting on expiring or aged documents and performing clean‑up or close‑out tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the procurement function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 2‑5 years of professional experience, or an advanced degree with 0‑3 years of experience.
