Indirect Buyer – Strategic Procurement

About the role

We are seeking an Indirect Buyer to join our strategic procurement team. The role focuses on managing indirect categories, leading sourcing initiatives and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive cost optimisation and supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities for indirect materials and services, including RFQs and RFPs.
• Manage supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations and contract selection.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support budget‑control initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across regions.
• Analyse market trends, supplier performance and procurement risks.
• Coordinate purchasing projects ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor procurement KPIs and contribute to continuous‑improvement programmes.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in indirect purchasing, strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Proven experience managing strategic sourcing and bidding processes (RFP/RFQ).
• Understanding of commercial and logistics terms such as Incoterms and payment terms.
• Experience in multinational or regional environments.
