Indirect Tax and Foreign Trade Manager

About the role

PwC Mexico is seeking an experienced manager to lead its Indirect Tax and Foreign Trade practice. You will guide a diverse client portfolio through complex VAT, GST and sales‑tax regulations, helping them optimise tax positions and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead indirect tax advisory projects focusing on VAT, GST and sales tax.
• Provide strategic tax planning and compliance solutions to optimise client outcomes.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and deliverables while aligning with client expectations.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering skill development and performance.
• Analyse system linkages to improve tax processes and drive efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to uphold professional and technical standards.
• Address conflicts or issues with clients and internal stakeholders, escalating when necessary.

• Manager‑level experience in indirect tax, with a proven track record of leading client engagements.
