Industrial Engineer

About the role

The Industrial Engineer will support the Model Year budgeting process, drive productivity improvements, and ensure standardized documentation across production areas. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to implement changes, manage manpower, and maintain key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate Model Year Process Sheets and support budget submission using AMPS and predetermined time analysis.
• Review, implement, and document Model Year changes.
• Participate in WPI/OTP programs for future product launches.
• Identify and eliminate waste to balance workloads and improve productivity.
• Update AMPS 3 to maintain headcount, cycle times, material usage, and vehicle safety requirements.
• Deliver standardized documentation (SWI) to production areas via AMPS.
• Define and standardize methods for required and non‑productive material across teams and shifts.
• Control manpower authorizations, update productivity KPIs, and manage overtime approvals.

Required profile

• Experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and lean manufacturing.
• Familiarity with predetermined time analysis methods such as MTM‑UAS or Modapts.
