Industrial Engineer – Manufacturing (Automotive)

About the role

Join Harman Automotive as an Industrial Engineer focused on manufacturing. You will drive new product launches, line transfers, capacity expansions, and layout improvements while applying continuous‑improvement methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage new launches, line transfers, capacity increases, and layout upgrades.
• Develop and implement improvement ideas for process optimization, cost reduction, and capacity growth.
• Track equipment, requisition facility installations, and prepare release documentation per client requirements.
• Monitor equipment KPIs, support production personnel training, and maintain up‑to‑date process documentation.
• Lead project follow‑up with detailed planning and ensure successful project transfers.
• Apply Harman Production System philosophy and Lean tools to sustain continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced English proficiency (reading and writing).
• Strong project‑management experience (new launches, line transfers, capacity upgrades, process improvements).
• Risk‑analysis orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in the automotive industry and Green Belt certification.
