Industrial Engineer – NPI

About the role

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an NPI Industrial Engineer to analyze operations, design efficient production workflows and reduce manufacturing inefficiencies using lean tools and practices. The role supports new product introductions through the creation, training and maintenance of procedures and standard methods.

Key responsibilities

• Design flow systems that maximize productivity, reduce waste and ensure safe, high‑quality processes.
• Analyze and design cell operations and workflow sequences to meet established expectations while maintaining optimal efficiency.
• Lead implementation of lean processes at workstations to reduce inventory, lead‑times and waste, thereby increasing site productivity and profitability.
• Support new‑product introductions by creating, maintaining and continuously improving procedures, methods and work standards.
• Train production personnel and promote a safety‑ and quality‑focused approach.
• Develop value‑stream maps and eliminate process waste using lean techniques and industrial‑engineering tools.
• Drive measurable improvements in customer delivery, productivity and product flow metrics.
• Assist facilities engineers in planning and designing facilities.
• Utilize analytical skills for capacity analysis, line balancing and cost‑avoidance opportunities.
• Perform trend analysis of shop performance to identify productivity enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in production or manufacturing environments.
• Conversational proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Valid passport and visa.
